Responsibility 
  • Understand the landscape of oversight activities & data across the Compliance function, and identify and articulate opportunities to support check & challenge rationale with data & insights.
  • Source, interrogate and analyse data using various skillsets (e.g. data aggregation, data visualisation, root cause & outlier analysis using statistics) to drive new insights supporting BAU & ad-hoc oversight activities.
  • Identify and communicate the demand for more complex solutions (e.g. machine learning) to improve the management of Compliance Risk, and facilitate requirement gathering.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with a centralized Product team throughout product lifecycle, and drive user testing, training & adoption and contribute to continuous product improvements.
  • Identify data governance and quality issues and escalate to stakeholders (e.g. supported Business Oversight Compliance team, centralized Product team, and Chief Data Office) for resolution.
  • Bring an understanding of technologies used in banking (and other sectors) and role-model intellectual curiosity and continuous learning related to emerging technology. Provide support for enterprise-wide regulatory and industry consultations relating to data topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Fairness and Bias in modelling, and Data Privacy.
