About Role

Comscore is looking for a new Associate Data Analyst who will extract, transform, and analyse data, finding insights and answering questions about the content of the data. This person will perform analytical hypothesis testing and modeling to provide key insight to internal and external clients. Supporting sales function by providing data expertise, feasibility reviews, and detailed analysis of questions raised by internal and external stakeholders. Some roles create and maintain internal and external user interface and reporting tools. These roles cross all Comscore product areas, including digital, mobile, OTT, and TV.

Responsibility  

• Extract, transform and analyse data.
• Own discrete research tasks.
• Interpret data and report key findings to internal and external clients.
• Assist in the development of automating and streamlining custom work using ETL software and database query tools.
• Work cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data quality issues
• Perform QA checks on custom work created by team
• Troubleshoot data collection issues
• Write complex SQL
• Responsible for established and reoccurring custom analysis projects.
• Escalate issues when appropriate.
• Manage time appropriately in order to meet internal and external deadlines.
• Document report production and quality control processes.

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Decision Sciences, Economics, Physics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 1 year of professional experience is preferred not mandatory ( Don’t go for perfection just apply )
• Proficient in statistical software (i.e. SQL), relational databases and MS Office Suite
• Uses database query tools and ELT software (SQL, Python, Alteryx, Qlik, etc.)
• Experience analyzing data sets
• Strong analytic, statistical and quantitative skills
